Come and Discover your Potential in Developing Leadership and Coaching Skills
At SEC we offer a Summer Leadership Training Camp for all Grade 8 students .
Students have the potential to develop leadership and coaching skills that will serve them well in their educational endeavors and future career. This program will not only give students the opportunity to work with young adults with special needs, but it will also give them leadership training, camp coaching
skills and the knowledge to plan and execute camp themes and special events along with the SEC team.
Students will enjoy all the activities and benefits of a Summer artsbased Camp while also acquiring hands on training as a Camp Leader during 4 weeks in July. Only students that have completed the 4 week
training in July may take advantage of the August Volunteer Assistant Coach position. Field trips will also be planned and scheduled weekly to various locations of interest.

• Visual Art – work on stage design, banners, painting, etc.
• Music – drum circle, professional musicians, singing, music therapy
• Dance – movements/Hip Hop, professional dance troupe
• Drama – professional Canadian actors, build confidence,
• Videography/Photography – professional film maker, create
commercials and short films
• Computer – learn digital media, sound and editing
• Literacy – professional authors , learn the art of script writing/
poetry/short stories
• Makeup Artist – professional artist in film and costume design
• Health & Wellness – kick boxing, various sport activities
• Culinary – professional Chef and baking designer
• Gardening – Horticulture
